Our technically trained performers focus on "feelings" and "psychological themes" conveyed through dance. Improvisational methods are used to develop thematic material and construct choreography, and this is what makes NewGround Theatre Dance Company unique.

Our developments are introspective, therapeutic, and transforming. We believe that the energy expressed through our choreography, as a result of our own personal awakening and change, deeply affects our audiences. We call this "Embodied Presence" and we feel it is a doorway to connection with others.
